Executive Summary

The Duty Bearer’s Handbook has been designed by Uganda Women’s Network (UWONET) with support from OXFAM as a tool for safeguarding women’s land rights and addressing Violence Against Women and Girls (VAW/G).

The Handbook will inform UWONET’s capacity building component through a project she is currently implementing which focuses on fostering Local Activism and Women’s Leadership to address Violence Against Women and Girls (VAW/G), and to advance women’s land rights in Northern and North Eastern Uganda
