Report Overview

Last year, UWONET trained women councilors and facilitated formation of women caucuses to enhance information sharing, networking and collective advocacy on women’s right and gender equality.

UWONET also trained CSOs for effective engagement with councils and other decision making processes and structures for  gender responsiveness; conducted mentorship sessions for young women leaders and held citizens platforms on electoral process and women’s participation in decision making.
