Report Overview

The 2016 women’s week was the third, having held the 1st and 2nd in 2012 and 2014 respectively. They are held every two years to track and monitor progress.

The 3rd National Women’s Week was held in Kampala, Uganda from 15th–21st October 2016 taking different forms and structure including spiritual, advocacy, lobbying, mentorship, charity, dialogue, and networking activities.

The 3rd National Women’s Week hosted by Uganda Women’s Network and UN Women was organized under the theme: “In Unison: Confronting the Unfinished Business! United, Women Can”.
