Executive Summary

This is a report of the workshop which was held on training of councilors in Abim and Amuria districts, in church of Uganda hall in Abim and Amuria on the 16th to 20th April 2012.

UWONET with financial support from Dan Church Aid (DCA) organized a post candidate training which was aimed at sharing the experience of women’s participation in the local government council, how to champion social accountability at the district level as well as how to advocate for key critical issues in the district council. The target groups for this training were the women councilors LC III and LC V from the district and sub county level
