Executive Summary

This handbook has been prepared for use by networks with a focus on GBV, established under the Support of GOU–Irish Aid Joint Program to address Gender Based Violence in Busoga region (Bugiri, Buyende, Jinja, Iganga, Kaliro, Kamuli, Mayuge, Luuka and Namutumba districts).

Gender Based Violence prevention, response and advocacy strategies have been integrated in the main development frameworks of government namely; The National Development Plan (NDP) and the Peace Recovery and Development Plan (PRDP) for Northern Uganda.
