Executive Summary

Uganda ratified CEDAW in 1995 and as a state party is obliged to submit regular reports on progress of implementation of CEDAW provisions to the CEDAW committee. UWONET is leading CSO monitoring role and advocacy actions on CEDAW compliance in Uganda.
