Executive Summary

“Enhancing Women’s Participation and Representation in Leadership and Decision Making for Gender Equality in Uganda” is a three year programme being implemented by UWONET in the four districts of Amuria, Abim, Katakwi and Moroto with support from Dan Church Aid.

UWONET works with Community Based organizations like Abim Together in Development (AWOTID) in Abim, Karamoja Women Umbrella Organization (KAWUO) in Moroto, and Teso Women Peace Association (TEWPA) in Soroti who help in networking, coordination and mobilization of participants.
